How to find us
Turn off the A12 at Kelvedon. Take turning by the Anchor public house where signposted to Tiptree. Go through Tiptree and a mile further on the road forks to the Tolleshunt Knights, signed to Salcott. 150 yards from the fork is the entrance to the fishery.

Swim Facts
50 pegs. Heavily stocked 4 acre lake set in picturesque Essex countryside near the town of Tiptree. Tremendous head of carp to 28lb. Many carp average between 6lb and 15lb, with Bream to 7lb and Tench to 8lb. Roach are plentiful and fish to 1lb taken in catches. Match record 191lbs. Pleasure catches exceed 100lb regularly.

How to catch
Margin fishing or surface baits are popular methods in the summer. Fishing at 8m on the bottom becomes effective in the cooler months. Pellets, paste and bread work well, as does sweetcorn and meat baits. Fish maggot for a bite a cast off roach. Size 14 to 10 barbless hooks with at least a no12 elastic for pole fishing.

What’s Banned
Barbed hooks banned at all times. Keepnets banned except in organised matches.

DAY TICKETS
Day tickets can be purchased from the bailiff on the bank, who checks on a regular basis throughout the day. Open from 7am to dusk. NO NIGHT FISHING.
